Family skiing vacations can be a lot of fun when you have all of the right rental equipment and clothing that you need. Finding the right rental agency at your vacation spot, though, might require you to make a few phone calls. This will help you get all of the snow skiing equipment, clothing, and other supplies that you need for your vacation at the cheapest prices. First, you can call your resort to get the names and numbers of some of the rental companies in the area. Ask the resort if they have deals with any of the businesses that will give you discounts for staying at the lodge. Once you have the numbers, call the first business on your list and ask them if they have skiing equipment and clothing that you can use for your holiday. Be sure to ask them about skis that are made specifically for cross country, mountains, and backcountry trails. You should also ask about snowshoes, poles, boots, and jackets that are useful in the cold snow. If you have some teenagers in your family, they might be interested in snowboarding, so make sure the rental business has them too. You can avoid the long waits during the holidays if they have helicopters that can take you to the spots you want to ski in.
